Fairy Birthday Party

My daughter wanted a fairy party for her birthday this year.

We painted fairy houses.

T

Went on a fairy hunt, finding fairy accessories to put on as we searched.

Found a fairy garden (the fairies were the twinkling lights inside the little houses).

 Opened presents.

And ate the fairy tree stump cake!!

What a fairy fun day!!! :)

Fairy Hunt Clues:
START: Look in the only tree where a fairy could be.

TREE: Let’s see if we can trick the fairies into thinking we are fairies too. Look in the blue fairy box to see what accessory will help disguise you as a fairy.

BLUE FAIRY BOX: There’s a box on the porch where we keep the outdoor toys. Find the next clue to see what to do.

DECK BOX: Fairies love bright colors. Find something to put in your hair, so the fairies you will not scare. Hint: Take a peak in the pink fairy box and see what you think.

PINK FAIRY BOX: Fairy wings are important things. To visit the fairies you will need these. Find one and put it on. Hint: They are hanging by the white fairy.

WINGS: Now you are ready to find the fairy garden. Be very quiet as you approach the fairy garden. If you look carefully, you might just catch a glimpse of a fairy or two. Be sweet and take turns so you don’t scare the fairies away. And if you are really good, you might just get to take one home with you. GOOD LUCK!!

Stinky and Dirty Show Birthday Party

My youngest loves the Amazon Original Stinky and Dirty Show so we had a birthday party with construction vehicles and garbage!  I used Stinky and Dirty Toys from Amazon to decorate, black fondant for the roads, brown sugar for the dirt, and fondant and a variety of sprinkles for the "garbage."   Instead of piñata, I had treats and toys stashed in a large box of garbage (plastics, cardboard, and containers that were clean) that the kids got to dip through to find hidden treasures. They used some of the garbage containers to hold all of their surprises. The kids had a blast digging through "garbage" to get to the surprises.  The drinks were fuel: Gasoline and Diesel. I got theses free printable labels from  https://mandyspartyprintables.com/2016/10/03/free-construction-party-printables/ . We also had a surprise ice cream truck show up. We made Chill with cardboard and paper and taped him to a cooler and gave out a variety of popsicles and ice c
